Review: SO far works great setup was fairly straight forward I love the joints can be tightened for my needs I wont move the screen much again so its a huge plus that its locked into place. its light weight and has a lot of articulation.The only cons I can think of is the vesa is plastic I wish it was metal but, luckily the portable monitor I am using has all 4 vesa holes so its pretty secure but, if you have one the monitors with only 2 vesa holes I’m not sure how long the plastic will hold up. It also comes with a clamp style mount that should work on most other screens with no vesa mount.The other con is still with the vesa since its made of plastic the attachment point and nut to tighten the display to the arm is all plastic i wish that the nut would have been metal at least and made bigger to be able to tighten easier like the knob on the table mount part is butterfly (two pronged knob) so its really easy to get leverage and tighten down and then easy to loosen I feel the attachment could have been the same type and it would feel more secure. Not a deal breaker and not real reasons to remove a star in my opinion because it fully functions and seems like it will hold up and is the same ball mount as most things so you can probably find a replacement easily.

Review: Great mount for my Kindle! I have it hooked to my bed frame, but can move it to other areas depending on where I’m reading – even hammock! It’s fully adjustable, sturdy, fits perfect and works for watching movies on my iPad as well. I have tried two other stands, the stand up kind, but unless something heavy is on it it falls over, and another one that has a flexible tube and is difficult to bend into the position I need and the clamp doesn’t fit as many places as this one does. Hands down my favorite!

Review: While this monitor arm includes both a tablet holder and VESA mount, I only use it with the plastic VESA mount for a 16″ portable monitor. Unlike typical desktop monitor arms, there are no springs in any of the joints. The VESA mount is plastic, probably for weight savings. The monitor arm stays in a particular position based on friction. You have to tighten the joints with the provided Allen wrench once you get the monitor in the position you want. It would have been great if one of the middle joints could swivel. I was still able to position the monitor the way I wanted but it took a lot more.

Review: Was looking forward to this, it looked so nice, but ended up with disappointment. The main arm itself is good looking, well made, mostly, with a good fit and finish. It is also pretty heavy duty and robust. Unfortunately, that is the best part of this item. Not as nice as the pictures, but close.The mounting base, while mostly metal, the connecting nut is plastic. Really? And even though you tighten it up, if you happen to turn the arm, it is going to unscrew. Not a good feature. Just kind of an important part of this unit. Also, with the nut being plastic, you have to be careful you don’t overtighten.Also, worst, the VESA mount is ALL plastic. Really? I just don’t get that, it makes no sense. I’ve used many VESA mounts, many of them, and they have all been made of metal. This is what holds the monitor to the arm, so why would you skim on this? The tablet or phone mount is all plastic as well. It works, but not very trustworthy. How much more does a metal plate cost over a plastic one?I had planned to use this for the monitor on my CNC, but frankly, I would not trust it. It is a touch screen monitor and I don’t want to see it crash or get broke because of this “holder”. So, not sure what I am going to do with this thing now.Funny, they go through the trouble of making a nice metal arm, and then they decide to cheap out on the rest. This could be a 5 star product, even at a higher price, if the rest of it was made better.I do find it sad that other reviewers have pointed out some of the major flaws and how they are important, but still give it 5 stars. This is not helpful to potential buyers.While it looks nice, there are too many possible issues with this, would not recommend.

I tried getting this to hold my 12.4in tablet (made of metal), and the arm wants to keep hanging down.The tablet itself is nowhere near 3.3lbs. So, this tells me that the arm isn’t strong enough to handle much weight. Take this with a grain of salt, but just be aware of the limitations of this monitor holder.
